The very first air carrier to successfully register with eu-LISA chose PnrGo as its service provider. Today, more than 180 air carriers rely on PnrGo to automate their EES queries. As the industry prepares for ETIAS and future eu-LISA programmes, we continue to combine certified technology with regulatory expertise to make compliance simpler for carriers worldwide.
Key facts about PnrGo and eu-LISA🌍 180+ air carriers use PnrGo as their selected service provider |
The introduction of eu-LISA systems—including the Entry/Exit System (EES), European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS), and Visa Information System (VIS)— represents one of the most significant regulatory and operational changes affecting carriers transporting passengers into the Schengen Area.
Recognising the importance of early preparation, PnrGo launched its eu-LISA connectivity services at the start of the voluntary EES query period in January 2026, giving carriers the opportunity to complete onboarding and testing well ahead of the regulatory deadline. The mandatory EES submissions came into effect on 10 April 2026, and our customers have been successfully using our system to automate queries to the eu-LISA Carrier Interface ever since.
A trusted choice for eu-LISA queries
Today, more than 180 air carriers have chosen PnrGo as their eu-LISA service provider. We are especially proud that the very first carrier to successfully complete eu-LISA registration is one of our customers—a milestone that reflects both our readiness from day one and our extensive experience helping carriers navigate similar onboarding processes for government programmes around the world.
We support carriers throughout their entire compliance journey. From guiding them through the complex eu-LISA registration process to helping them transition into production, our team is there every step of the way. Since going live with EES, carriers using PnrGo have submitted passenger queries for more than 13,500 flights.
Being a trusted eu-LISA partner means more than delivering reliable connectivity. As a certified eu-LISA service provider, we provide carriers with a secure and compliant solution that meets eu-LISA's technical and operational requirements, while helping them prepare for the future stages of the programme.
Experts who can answer your questions
We know that technology alone is not enough. While PnrGo automates the required data queries, carriers still need to establish the right internal procedures to handle different passenger scenarios based on the responses returned by authorities.
That is why we go beyond connectivity and share the regulatory expertise behind our technology. Building effective automation requires a deep understanding of the requirements and processes set by authorities, and we use this knowledge to help our customers understand their obligations and prepare their operations effectively.
We regularly host free webinars with live Q&A sessions and publish practical resources on our website—including our EES ebook, which has already been downloaded by hundreds of aviation professionals. These resources are available not only to our customers, but also to the wider aviation community.

And because operational challenges do not follow office hours, our dedicated support team is available seven days a week to assist carriers whenever they need help.
Our goal is simple: to make complex regulatory changes easier to understand and manage for air carriers.
Always ahead of the curve
While EES marked the first phase of the eu-LISA programme for carriers, we are already helping our customers prepare for what comes next. The next major milestone is ETIAS, expected in Q4 2026, followed by VIS in Q3 2028.
ETIAS will significantly expand the scope of mandatory carrier checks. Under EES, carriers primarily verified passengers travelling on short-term single- or double-entry visas. With ETIAS, mandatory checks will also apply to visa-exempt passengers, who will need to obtain an electronic travel authorisation before travelling to Europe—similar to the British ETA or the American ESTA.
This means carriers will be required to perform queries for travellers from 59 visa-exempt countries visiting 30 European countries, ensuring these passengers have the required authorisation before boarding.
The successful implementation of EES was only the beginning. As Europe continues to roll out its new border management systems, PnrGo remains committed to helping air carriers stay ahead of regulatory change. With certified technology, proven onboarding expertise, and dedicated customer support, we are ready to help carriers navigate every stage of the eu-LISA roadmap with confidence.
